Night Supported Housing Assistant

Our Client have an exciting opportunity for a Night Support Assistant to join their housing services around the North London area of Harrow / Wembley.

You will be working with and giving support to young homeless people aged 16-25. 

You will be responsible for providing extensive support to our residents. You will be developing a positive environment and enabling relationships with customers to support their emotional, physical and mental well-being. 
The total number of hours for this post will be 37.5 hours per week.
You will be required to work over a rota of 7 days between the hours of 9pm - 9am. 

Who we are looking for

We are looking for people who treat others professionally, valuing their colleagues and acting in an ethical and inclusive way.

You will have experience of working in a support function and have had exposure to working and supporting people with a homeless background or similar.
You will have experience of lone working and as part of a team, working within a team environment and experience of working in an environment where you have needed to respond to crisis situations. You will have experience of reporting appropriately and in a timely manner to managers. You will use your own initiative to solve problems.
